How to complete identity verification (Level 1 and 2 KYC)

Introduction to KYC
Know Your Customer (KYC) is a process of identity verification, which is required for legal and regulatory purposes, as with any major exchange.
KYC Levels on AAX:
- KYC Level 1 allows you to access buying and selling functions over P2P trading or Quick Buy/Sell services by uploading your identification card.
- KYC Level 2 allows you to access deposit and withdrawal functions by uploading proof of residency documents.
This guide will help you complete these levels on a browser or through your app.
How to complete Level 1
1. Log in to your account, click on your personal account, and then click "identification" to enter the account center. You can also directly visit: https://account.aax.com/en-US/my/
2. Click "Verify" at the top right.

3. Click to select the account type you would like to verify. Once selected, they cannot be modified. Different types of accounts need to provide different types of documents. After selecting, click "Verify".

4. Fill in the relevant information and click "Next".


5. Select the method you submit photos. Currently, three methods are supported, online photo captured by computer camera (option one "Take photo"), upload file on from your computer (option two "upload file"), and online captured by phone camera (Option three "Prefer to use your phone?").
6. After the photo has been submitted, just wait patiently for the review. Usually, the review will be completed within 1-2 working days. You can check the progress in your account center--identification. If your KYC failed, you can check the reason and re-verify.


If you select option two "Upload files", please upload the corresponding photos according to the prompts on the page.

If you choose option 3 "Prefer to use your phone?", please scan the QR code, and then take photos or upload files from your phone according to the prompts on the phone.

How to complete Level 2
1. After passing the level1 identification, you can go back to the personal center and click "identification" to continue to complete the level2 identification.
2. Click "submit" to upload the address proof document that has been saved in the computer. (You need to submit an English address proof document valid within three months, you can provide documents issued by government departments, bank statements, lease agreements or utility bills; mobile phone bills are not accepted. Documents must contain date, name, and address).

3. After uploading the file, just wait patiently for the review. Usually, the review will be completed within 1-2 working days. You can check the progress in your account center--identification. If your KYC fails, you can check the reason and re-verify.
Verification on the app
How to complete Level 1
1. Log in to your account, click on your personal account, and then click "identification" to enter the account center.
2. Follow the prompts to fill in the information and select the ID type, and click "Next".

3. Follow the guide, place the relevant documents in the scanning frame until it is automatically captured. Please make sure all the document is fully visible, glare-free, and not blurred. If the capture is not successful, please try to adjust the angle and distance, or check whether the correct ID type is selected. After the scan is successful, click "Continue". Finally, follow the guide and scan your face.

4. After the scan is finished, just wait patiently for the review. Usually, the review will be completed within 1-2 working days. You can check the status in personal account identification. If your KYC been rejected, you can check the reason and re-verify.
How to complete Level 2
After passing the level 1 identification, you can go back to the personal account center--Identification and click level 2 "Verify now" to continue to complete the level 2 identification.
Click “click upload”to take a photo or upload relevant files from the phone. (You need to submit a proof of address within three months, such as the documents issued by government departments, bank statements, lease agreements or utility bills; mobile phone bills are not accepted. Documents must contain the date, user name, and address).

How to complete the corporate account verification at AAX Exchange?
Currently, it is supported to complete the corporate account verification through the web version, the process is as follows:1.Log in to your account, click on the account, then click on "Identification"

2.Select "Corporate Account Verification", next step, click "Start Verification"
Please Note: You can only choose to verify the corporate account or individual account, please confirm the type of account you want to verify before selecting.


3.Follow the instructions on the page to upload and fill in the corresponding information or document.



4.After filling in,please wait patiently for 5-10 working days for review. After the review is passed, you will receive an email reminder. If you have not bound your email, please bind your email in your personal account-security settings first.
